Dairy Free Chocolate Banana

Umm looks tasty. I make a similar drink using banana, chocolate, coconut milk, or pureed coconut mixed with fresh pineapple, rice milk, almond milk, or sometimes real milk-preferably raw milk, but never, never, never, soy milk. For info on concerns about consumption of unfermented soy products please visit http://www.westonaprice.org/soy-alert.html. It is worth the read for yourself and your family. Babies…

Fragrance, harmless or noxious?

Hi Everyone,

Continuing with our research into Pantene Pro-V Always Smooth 2 in 1 Shampoo, tonight we will look into the chemically manufactured fragrance or 'parfum' which it is more eloquently known as.

Fragrance is one of the more concerning chemicals partly due to the fact that the full implications of this chemical are unknown from product to product. Fragrance has become a 'loose term' used by cosmetic companies to imply positive ordour of the product, however, the truth… Continue

Glycol Distearate, Cocamide MEA and Dimethicone - what do these chemicals all have in common?

Hi Everyone,

Today we are dealing with 3 low-moderately hazardous chemicals as part of our quest to find just how unsafe Pantene Pro-V Always Smooth 2 in 1 Shampoo really is. I say unsafe as our research so far has definitively shown that this product is indeed unsafe by NSA standards.

Previous blog posts show that we have found that Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate to be carcinogenic - cancer causing, among a host of other concerns; Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Cetyl Alcohol,… Continue

NAT products

Hi

After years of trying different skin care products, I have finally found a product that suits my skin. My skin is very sensitive and I have found the NAT Natural skin and body essentials the best I have used so far. My skin doesn't react when I use the cleanser and the treatment toner is cooling. I am using the Restore for sensitve and fragile skin and am just loving it. My red complexion has settled and in the morning when I wake up my skin feels soft and hydrated. It's a product… Continue

Welcome to the NSA Forum

Welcome to the launch of the Natural Skincare Authority (NSA) Forum!

NSA is dedicated to providing consumers with the truth about the high toxicity of many skincare products currently on the market. Our objective is to help consumers to make informed choices about their skincare purchases and to understand the importance of toxin and chemical free products.

NSA is passionate and committed to exposing the truth about skincare toxins and providing consumers with information – knowledge is power when you apply that knowledge and make better choices for your health.

Community building is the foundation of people sharing knowledge, and therefore empowering themselves and each other to make better choices. The wisdom and knowledge gained from the research and experience of others and shared within a community enriches every person who ‘resides’ in that community and contributes to the lives of many.

Based on this premise, the NSA team would like to wholeheartedly welcome you to your community, one we can create together through sharing of product experiences, discussions about product ingredients, FAQs, tips for choosing safe products, free information and research and soon to be released informational videos and many more features yet to be announced.

For our first post, we considered what the most important features of a community are. A community is characterized by being a place where people can share experiences. Therefore the first discussion topic is about sharing your experiences of skincare products, including hair care and body care.

NSA often receives questions and comments from consumers regarding product related experiences. These range from being very negative and hazardous with mild to severe skin reactions as well as effects of people’s physiological state. As well as general questions about products and ingredients and positive experiences with a variety of skincare products, essential oils and even home-made remedies which have completely reversed the damage done by the commonly available toxic products.

We feel very strongly that this information needs to be made available within our community to share knowledge and information which leads to empowerment for better choices. And we welcome you to share your own experiences, both good and bad, in this forum.

You are also welcome to post questions to Natural Skincare Authority either on the forum or personally using the Contact Us link available at the horizontal navigation bar.
